Campaign Story

We love to help, to make other people’s lives a little better, a little nicer, a little happier! We have supported children from disadvantaged and abusive families with a holiday on Lake Balaton, Christmas donations and we also host kindergartners in our ice cream parlour in Balatonfüred every year.

Our little son Marci was hospitalized last year, he was not even 2 years old, he got an infection and we couldn’t leave the room. On top of that, he had a visitation ban because of Covid. Fortunately he got better soon, but it was not an easy time for Marci, because it is not easy to keep a small child happy who has to spend his days in a 15 sqm room.

What Amigos volunteers, the Amigos, do is amazing and exemplary. It is heaven for a child to be cared for with love and joy, something every child should be able to experience.

We hope that we can make the time in the hospital more beautiful and a little easier for the sick children and their parents. Please join us in supporting the work of Amigos for Children!
